Thacker News – Cool gifts, live music Friday at The Lyric

The party’s back! The Thacker Mountain Radio Hour will host its 8th Annual Holiday Membership party on Friday, Dec. 3 from 6-8:30 pm at The Lyric Oxford. The event will feature an online auction of unique gifts to raise funds for the show, plus live music by the Yalobushwhacker Big Band with the Holiday Horns! (Pictured, above, earlier this year at the Old Armory Pavilion). Food and a signature drink will be provided by local caterers. The Lyric bar (cash/credit) will also be open. The Lyric Oxford is located at 1006 Van Buren Avenue.

The party is free to current members.

Memberships (new or renewed) are available at the door or online for $50 (solo), $75 for family and $20 for students. Memberships are good for one year.

If you are unable to attend, you may donate at the show’s website, http://thackermountain.com/.
