Author: Erin Austen Abbott – Waterfront Living – Inspired Coastal Homes & Small Town Lifestyles (Running Press)

Despite gas prices and global upheaval, Erin Austen Abbott says, “There’s still good in this country. I found it in these communities across the country. [Chapter on Ocean Springs included.]
“I feature towns you wouldn’t immediately think of as water communities, near rivers, lakes, oceans, and on islands. I photographed homes and places as they are- not high gloss magazine images, but real, attainable places across four seasons. I hope you love it!” – Erin Austen Abbott

Previous book, Small Town Living (“An idyllic celebration of the rural life.” —Publishers Weekly)
Erin’s writing and photography has been published in Esquire, Bon Appetit, Design Sponge, Southern Living, First + Main, and more, and she’s been featured in The New York Times, Anthology Magazine, Domino, and Sage Living by Anne Sage, among others.

The Veal Brothers began their gospel music career in 1975. The group has established their own record label, Prosperity Records.
Their latest album is Live at Home, an uplifting set of tunes that features hot guitar, horns and the group’s incomparable harmonies. Highlights are, “Joy,” “The Price is Right” and Help Me.”
Their previous album was Feel the Spirit.

Maggie Koerner (rhymes with Turner) is a singer, songwriter and actress from New Orleans by way of Shreveport, Louisiana.
In addition to her solo career, which now includes four full-length albums, Koerner is also known for her onstage vocal work with New Orleans bands, Galactic and The Revivalists.
Her latest album is UPSTATE. The album came out last fall with a record release performance by Koerner at Tipitina’s in New Orleans. Koerner hits the road with a full band this fall to promote the album.
The album, full of “personal, resonant songs,” (Gambit), includes the tracks, Mississippi and the haunting instrumental, Keep Your Heroes Handsome.
A new single, “Hurricane,” drops in September.
“I was never put here to be a pop star. For me, it’s about reminding folks why we’re here on this Earth, even if it’s just to feel good and cry.” – Maggie Koerner (Louisiana Life Magazine)
